Emerald Board & Batten Accent Wall
A clean board and batten treatment in a deep emerald green, turning a flat builder-grade bedroom wall into the focal point of the room.
A blue glass subway tile backsplash run behind the range and around the full perimeter, laid in a running bond with the courses set out to avoid a thin cut at the underside of the wall cabinets.
Glass is unforgiving to cut and shows every inconsistency in the substrate behind it, so the wall was floated flat before any tile went up. The outlets were cut tight and the exposed edges finished with Schluter trim rather than caulk.
